Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Grandville, MI is seeking a 3rd Shift Operator to safely operate food manufacturing equipment, ensure formulas are accurate, and complete necessary paperwork.

You will meet daily production goals while maintaining product quality and following GMPs, CCPs, and QCPs throughout the shift. You will train others on proper equipment use, work in a fast-paced environment, and handle lifting up to 50 lbs while supporting a safe, collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED preferred.
• Must read and write English to an 8th grade level.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Detail oriented and able to work in a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.
• Able to work independently and on a flexible/off shift schedule.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work from heights.

Responsibilities

• Operate specific equipment within a designated area.
• Meet daily production goals and requirements.
• Ensure product quality and adjust equipment as needed.
• Verify weights and formulas are accurate.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Follow GMPs, CCPs and QCPs at all times.
• Report food safety and maintenance concerns immediately.
• Train and instruct other team members on equipment operation.
• Adhere to all safe work practices and rules.
