Job summary

Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for an Operator B/Accumulator (machine operator) on our 3rd shift team at the Temple, TX manufacturing plant. You will operate the Accumulator to cut foam slabs into components according to the production schedule and customer specifications.

Initial 4–6 weeks of training on 1st shift while onboarding the full team. In this role you will ensure safe operation of equipment, perform quality checks, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment while

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 35 to 90 lb rolls.
• Ability to read a basic tape measure.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English labeling process.
• Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Accumulator machine to cut foam slabs into usable components based on production schedule and customer specifications.
• Monitor equipment to minimize downtime.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure wrapped rolls meet length and thickness specs.
• Rework any defective or damaged rolls.
• Label blocks properly and communicate with management.
• Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work environment.
