Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group seeks a general laborer to assist with operating the filling line and boxing completed product. No experience is required, though filling-line experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include maintaining line supplies, assisting with line changes, checking lid tightness, labeling, boxing and palletizing finished goods, and completing shipping paperwork. The role requires standing and lifting up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills required.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Maintain supplies for filling line, such as empty cans, boxes, etc.
• Assist operator in changing filing line components from run to run
• Check application of lids on containers and manually tighten any loose lids
• Print and apply labeling to filled boxes
• Box and palletize finished product
• Complete tracking forms and attach to pallets
• Move completed pallets to shipping staging areas
