Job summary

FuelCell Energy Solutions GmbH is seeking a Facility Technician for our Torrington, CT facility. The role supports daily operations with a focus on building infrastructure and manufacturing equipment, reporting to the Facilities Supervisor.

The position runs Monday to Friday from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm, with on-call 24/7 rotation and local travel as needed. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and a related technical background and be able to read blueprints and operate common shop tools.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED plus Trade School/AS in Electro-Mechanical Technology.
• 4+ years in a manufacturing facilities environment preferred; hands-on experience may substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment supporting building assets.
• Document predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on building assets.
• Perform inspections of plant and process safety systems.
• Follow work instructions and safety standards to perform tasks professionally.
