Job summary

Venteon is seeking a 3rd Shift Facility Technician for a leading automotive supplier near Jackson, Michigan. The role runs 11 PM–7:30 AM, with a 5-day work week and limited weekend overtime; a $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Responsibilities include maintaining utilities, working at heights, Kaizen participation, QC support, and cross-team collaboration. Requires journeyperson’s card or 5 years of facilities equipment experience.

• Work at heights of 40–50 ft in Hi Lift equipment.
• Participate in Kaizen Activities to prevent equipment failures.
• Assist with Q.C. activities within the Maintenance team.
• Provide support to Production and other maintenance groups as required.

3RD SHIFT FACILITY TECHNICIAN'S NEEDED - JACKSON, MICHIGAN

A Leading Automotive Supplier near Jackson, Michigan needs 3rd Shift Facility Technician's.

The 3rd Shift Working Hours are 11 P.M. to 7:30 A.M.

Offering a 5 Day Work Week with Limited Weekend Overtime and Volunteer Overtime is Available.

$1,000.00 Sign On Bonus Available.

These are Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Positions with Competitive Hourly Compensation, $1.50 Off Shift Premium, Benefits 1st Day of Employment, Paid Holidays & Paid Vacation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain utilities to the manufacturing area, including but not limited to repair and regularly scheduled PM's of equipment.
• Must be comfortable working at heights of 40 ~ 50ft in Hi Lift equipment.
• Participate in Kaizen Activities to prevent reoccurrence of Equipment failures.
• Assist with Q.C. Activities within the Maintenance team.
• Provide support to Production and other maintenance groups when required.Willingness to work in confined spaces.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Journeyperson's Card or 5 years of proven experience in handling Facilities Equipment such as Boilers, Air Compressors, Substations, High Voltage, R.O. Water Systems, Air Conditioning Systems, and HVAC Systems.
• Strong Mechanical Abilities.
• Electrical Skills are Preferred.
• Willingness to perform both Electrical & Mechanical work.
• Should be a well-rounded Maintenance Associate who is eager to help the team achieve their goals.
• Ability and desire to work and interact with other skilled trades associates across 3 shifts.
• A team player who brings ideas to the table and supports the team concept in improving operations of the facilities area.
