Job summary

Doumak, Inc. in the Chicago area is hiring for an Extrusion Operator on the 3rd Shift at the Bensenville facility. The role supports the extrusion process to ensure proper product size and crust and assists with changeovers, cleanups, and starch room maintenance.

Starting pay is $18 per hour with raises to $19, $20, $21, and $22 after each year of service. Weekend overtime may apply. A High School diploma and ability to lift 50 pounds required; training provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must read and write English and understand basic math.
• Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Oversee extrusion process to ensure proper size and crust of product.
• Assist with changeovers, cleanups, and general starch room maintenance.
• Ensure a quality marshmallow is produced and presented to packaging machines.
