Job summary

TE Wire & Cable LLC in Saddle Brook, NJ is seeking an extruder operator to set up, maintain and operate extrusion machinery. You will ensure smooth production and safety while collaborating with colleagues for continuous improvement.

The shift is 3rd (11:30PM-8:00AM) with pay range $18.00-$21.00 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package and on-the-job training to elevate your skills.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years of experience with wire, PVC and/or plastic extrusion.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings (speed, temperature, etc.).
• Load extruder hopper with plastic granules and color concentrate per job specs.
• Load reels of wire into payoff stand and guide through the process.
• Monitor output and fix issues to maintain smooth production flow.
