Job summary

Garmin International is seeking a full-time Material Handler - Equipment (3rd Shift) at our U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area.

You will operate material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, and count components with accuracy while keeping a clean, safe workplace. The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, cycle counts, FIFO/LIFO adherence, and use of KiSoft or Oracle to record transactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have previous equipment-related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds with safe lifting techniques.
• Ability to operate equipment rated for operators 300 pounds or less.
• Able to sit, stand, bend, twist, and use hands for up to 10 hours.
• Overtime availability required.
• Able to walk long distances.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count materials.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory, transactions, and material movement.
• Follow all corporate and departmental procedures.
• Pull or audit material for Kanban, shop orders, move orders, or sales orders.
• Issue and transact material via material withdrawal forms; receive inbound material.
• Ensure FIFO/LIFO adherence and proper replenishment of material locations.
