Job summary

Vicor Corporation in Andover, MA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday 11:00 pm–7:00 am) to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on V•I Chip production and test equipment. You will support production operators, troubleshoot, and optimize equipment to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electro-mechanical / electronic engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting production line equipment and systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on V•I Chip production and test equipment.
• Provide continuous technical support to production operators.
• Train and evaluate operators on process and equipment knowledge.
• Maintain and purchase spare parts inventories; manage inventory levels.
• Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Improve, debug and optimize setups and changeovers; maximize equipment capacity.
• Develop and improve maintenance documentation and workflows.
• Support manufacturing and test engineering groups; conduct tests as needed.
