Job summary

SWD Inc. in Addison, Illinois is seeking a full-time entry-level Dip Spin Machine Operator for the 11pm–7am shift. This role requires weekend work and the ability to work Monday through Saturday.

You will assist the foreman, load jobs into barrels, operate lines, perform inspections, track job status, and help with safety and quality tests.

Starting pay is $19.50 per hour with performance reviews at 60 days, 6 months and 12 months, followed by annual raises.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma is preferred but not required.
• Weekend availability is required for this role.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
• English reading/writing and basic math skills are required.
• Strong communication and listening skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist foreman with delegated duties.
• Load jobs into barrels as required.
• Assist in loading and unloading metal parts into machinery lines.
• Operate and perform line inspections on machinery lines.
• Track status of jobs and perform quality tests on parts.
• Assist maintenance in troubleshooting line problems and follow safety policies.
