Job summary

Menasha Corporation in Neenah, WI, seeks a Backup Die Cut Operator to setup, operate, inspect, and maintain a die cutter to produce quality products safely and efficiently.

You will follow safety and GMP guidelines, determine efficient manufacturing methods, and collaborate with peers to improve quality and throughput on a rotating third shift. A high school diploma is preferred; safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent desired but not required.
• Safety sensitive position – ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business.
• Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed.
• Ability to effectively work in teams.
• Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to accurately perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Set-up diecutter & tooling and operate die cutter.
• Maintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation of the assigned equipment.
• Troubleshoot and make decisions regarding the quality of finished product.
• Complete required quality inspections and paperwork.
• Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance.
• Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements.
