Job summary

McLane is hiring a Delivery Assistant in Smyrna, GA to support a Delivery Driver in a fast-paced environment. You will unload trailers, place items in food-safe storage, and assist with on-time deliveries while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications include being 18+, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and proficient reading/writing in English to safely follow instructions and work processes.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to perform tasks safely and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailer using a hand truck or 2-wheeled dolly.
• Place all delivery items in customer-designated food-safe storage areas.
• Assist the Driver’s efforts to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned.
