Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a 3rd Shift Custodian in Shepherdsville, KY. The role involves cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, trash removal, and basic building maintenance within the distribution center. Training is provided, no prior experience required.

You must be at least 18, able to work holidays/weekends/overtime, and pass a background check and drug test. The job exposes you to extreme temperatures and physical work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

3rd Shift Custodian

Distribution Center Address: 342 Gordon Industrial Ave, Shepherdsville KY

Pay: Starting at $19.60 hour (includes a $1.00 3rd shift premium)

Work Schedule

• Sunday - Thursday work week, with Friday and Saturdays off
• 3rd Shift 9:30pm - 6am

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. As a custodian, you'll support our team by maintaining the buildings to ensure clean, organized operations. You will also sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, empty the trash, clear snow, and maintain the landscaping. You can expect to work in extreme temperatures (-25F to 100F) in the distribution center. There’s no experience required - we'll train you how to get the job done!

• We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F) is required while you’re here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check.
