AES

AES a division of Lennox, was established in 1988 and is one of the largest manufacturers of roof curbs and drop box diffuser systems in the nation. We have recently expanded our capabilities as a single source supplier by adding a Mechanical Services Division as well as becoming a Misc. Steel manufacturer. These new services will reduce construction costs and eliminate coordination with multiple suppliers and subcontractors. Our focus will be to enhance the services provided to our General Contractor network nationwide. AES has 4 different fabrication facility locations nationwide to assist our customers and reduce their freight cost and shipment lead times.

Position Summary

A Custodian is responsible for keeping the manufacturing area and rest areas clean, stocked, and in an orderly condition.

3rd Shift Hours

This will be a 3rd shift position with the following hours: Monday-Thursday 7pm-5:30am.

Education / Experience / Requirements

• No active written or final discipline on file.
• Good standing in attendance.
• Previous custodial experience.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Duties (Not Limited To)

• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Clean building floors by sweeping and mopping (using floor scrubber equipment).
• Perform basic maintenance on floor scrubber equipment including draining/emptying tanks.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage and maintain safe working environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of breakroom including but not limited to cleaning the microwaves.
• Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning duties.
• Organize, put away, and deliver supplies from supply pallet deliveries.
• Keep trash compactor area clean of loose debris.
• Operate leaf blower as needed.
• Assist in other production areas as necessary.

What We Offer

Compensation

This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $18.00/hour with a shift differential of $2.00. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
