Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a 3rd Shift Custodian at the Aberdeen, MD distribution center. You will maintain clean, safe facilities, sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and handle trash in a climate that ranges from -25F to 100F.

No experience required—training provided. Must be 18+, able to work holidays and weekends, pass a background check and drug test, and read/write English. Competitive starting rate and weekly pay with incentives.

3rd Shift Custodian

Distribution Center Address: 504 Advantage Ave, Aberdeen MD

Starting Hourly Rate $19.52 (Plus $1.00 shift differential) with an increase to $19.91 at 6 months. The hourly max rate is $23.42. (All employees start out at the minimum rate)

• Sunday - Thursday work week, with Friday and Saturdays off
• 3rd Shift - 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. As a custodian, you will support our team by maintaining the buildings to ensure clean, organized operations. You will also sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, empty the trash, clear snow, and maintain the landscaping. You can expect to work in extreme temperatures (-25F to 100F) in the distribution center. There is no experience required - we will train you how to get the job done!

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!
• We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F) is required while you are here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check.
