Description/Qualifications

Become a success story in our Machining Department.

CNC Setup/Operator on 3rd shift.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM, starting at $20/hr.

Description:

• Perform typical machine shop operations including accurate and efficient CNC setup.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to Machining Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment, following safety procedures.
• Perform tasks such as grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, de-burring, sawing, and sanding.
• Inspect machined products and document results.
• Complete and maintain paperwork for parts.
• Read and interpret drawings, follow routers, perform basic calculations, and use measuring tools.
• Communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Report directly to the Machining Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school certification preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience setting up CNC milling machines.
• At least 2 years of experience operating CNC milling machines.
• At least 2 years of experience using calipers.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading.
