The Facilities Group is seeking a Cleaner for a full-time 3rd shift at the Shelbyville distribution center. You will keep cold storage areas clean, sanitary, and safe, with on-site training provided.

Responsibilities include cleaning, waste handling, and stocking supplies, with attention to safety procedures. No prior experience required; training is provided, and you may work in refrigerated zones wearing appropriate PPE.

Competenze

• Janitorial or cleaning experience is helpful but not required; training is provided.
• Ability to work in cold storage areas for extended periods.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and cleaning schedules.
• Able to lift/carry cleaning materials and waste weighing up to 30 lbs; 50 lbs occasionally.
• Stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.

Mansioni

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including floors, restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other facility spaces.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and spot-clean floors using approved equipment and cleaning products.
• Collect, sort, and dispose of trash and recycling according to site procedures.
• Operate a pallet jack daily to move cleaning supplies and disposal containers, following on-site training and all facility safety procedures.
• Work in cold storage areas when assigned, using required protective clothing and equipment.
• Refill dispensers and maintain cleaning supplies; report low stock or equipment problems to a supervisor.
• Follow sanitation, chemical handling, food safety, and PPE requirements.
• Report spills, damage, unsafe conditions, or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Complete assigned cleaning tasks and checklists within the scheduled shift.
