Job summary

UNIS is seeking a 3rd Shift Clamp Operator to safely load, unload, and stage materials across the warehouse using clamp attachment forklifts. You will use RF scanners and the WMS to track movements and ensure inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include thorough pre-shift inspections, maintaining a clean work area, and collaborating with teammates to meet production targets while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of clamp forklift operation in warehousing.
• Valid forklift certification and hands-on safety experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights up to 30 ft.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a clamp attachment forklift to load, unload, move, and stage materials across the warehouse and production areas, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and operational standards.
• Conduct thorough pre-shift equipment inspections and proactively report any maintenance or safety concerns to the management team promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area that meets health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Use warehouse management system (WMS) technology and RF scanners to track material movements, ensure inventory accuracy, and follow procedural workflows.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet operational targets, prioritize tasks effectively, and contribute to a positive, results-driven work environment.
