Job summary

Bruker OST is seeking a Chemical Cleaning Technician for 3rd shift in Carteret, NJ. The role involves preparing chemical batches and etch cleaning of components used in superconducting wire, following strict work instructions and documenting manufacturing steps.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma, 1–3 years of chemical handling experience, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Safety training and ISO 45001 certification emphasis are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English, read and write procedures.
• Experience handling chemicals in a lab/manufacturing setting (1–3 yrs).
• Ability to read calibrated instruments and interpret safety procedures.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Familiar with hazardous chemicals and safe handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Follow all OST Safety Manual regulations.
• Proficiently use micrometers and calipers for measurements.
• Assist in assembling etch cleaned parts in a clean room.
• Assist in development and revision of etch cleaning procedures.
• Maintain organized manufacturing paperwork.
• Support and improve Lean manufacturing practices.
• Work in a team or independently as needed.
• Work overtime as production schedule requires.
