Job summary

Home Helpers of Greater Milwaukee is seeking loving, compassionate Caregivers to provide essential support and companionship for seniors in their own homes, including some living with dementia. You’ll help with medication, mobility, personal care, meals, light housekeeping, and errands, while building trusted relationships and ensuring safety.

We offer PTO, paid training, weekly pay, 401K, mileage reimbursement and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility

• Plan and prepare meals with client assistance
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion

This position is available for full-time or part-time shifts where you get to build your own schedules!

Job Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
