Job summary

Home Helpers of Greater Milwaukee is seeking loving, compassionate Caregivers to provide essential support and companionship for seniors, including individuals with dementia, in their own homes in the Greater Milwaukee area.

The role involves helping with medications, mobility, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship while supporting clients to stay independent and thrive in familiar surroundings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA/CBRF/PCW certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

This position is available for full-time or part-time shifts where you get to build your own schedules!
