General ThermoDynamics is seeking a Brake Press Operator for the Iron Ridge facility to set up and operate hydraulic and CNC brake presses forming heat exchanger components. You will ensure parts meet specs, inspect with calipers, and maintain production records on the MES.

The role requires a high school diploma, prior brake-press experience, and strong attention to detail. Work includes collaborating with welders, QA, and material handlers in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Brake press or fabrication equipment experience preferred (5 years).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• High attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brake press equipment to bend, form, and straighten metal components.
• Select tooling, die, and machine settings based on work orders and blueprints.
• Perform first-piece inspections and document production data in MES.
• Collaborate with welders, QA, and material handlers to support workflow and continuous improvement.
