Job summary

Astemo Indiana, Inc. in Tarboro, NC seeks an experienced production supervisor to lead ECU production teams, ensure product quality, maintain safety standards, and drive on-time delivery in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

You will plan work schedules, organize workflow, read production schedules, allocate resources, and monitor performance data to meet production goals while coaching staff and communicating with management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Self-directed and task-oriented.
• Willing to work overtime and all shifts.
• Ability to lead teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Inspect Materials, Products, or Equipment to Detect Defects or Malfunctions
• Maintain Operations Data
• Organize Workflow
• Read and Analyze Charts, Work Orders, and Production Schedules to Determine Production Requirements
• Plan and Establish Work Schedules, Assignments, and Production Sequences to Meet Production Goals
• Requisition Materials, Supplies, Equipment Parts, or Repair Service
• Confer with Management or Subordinates to Resolve Associate Problems, Complaints, or Grievances
• Monitor or Patrol work Area and Enforce Safety and Sanitation Regulations

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

• College course work or 2-year Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership or Related Field
• 3 years of work experience in a repetitive, automotive manufacturing environment
