Job summary

Silgan Dispensing is seeking an Assembly Associate in Grandview, MO to support loading, unloading, and moving materials within the assembly department. You will follow work orders, maintain cleanliness, and assist with quality checks to meet daily production targets.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to environmental and quality policies. Weekend availability and third shift may be required, with shift differential and competitive starting pay.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and present information clearly.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Be in assigned area at shift start wearing required PPE and prepared to begin work.
• Load and unload materials from pallets, boxes, bins and shelves.
• Unjam parts and operate assembly machines and auto packers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain visual quality checks and document results as required by the work order.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and adhere to safety and environmental policies.
