Job summary

NexForm, headquartered in Battle Creek, Michigan, is seeking a 3rd Shift Assembly Production Team Member to join our manufacturing team. Location: Battle Creek, MI. Starting rate: $15.50 per hour. Reports to the Production Supervisor and supports safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and prior production facility experience. Must pass pre-hire screening and have reliable transportation. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Maintain high quality workmanship with strong attention to detail.
• Wear required PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.).
• Work within safety guidelines for the plant and work area.
• Operate in a factory environment with noise, dust, heat and forklift traffic.
• Contribute to production goals and continuous improvement.

Production Team Member

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Location: Battle Creek, MI

Starting Rate: $15.50

We’re looking for a forward-thinking problem solver and change-maker ready to help take NexForm to the next level.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Previous production/light industrial employment experience is preferred
• Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to work within established safety guidelines for the plant and assigned work area
• Ability to work in a factory environment with exposure to moderate levels of noise, dust, heat, moving machinery and fork lift traffic

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous working experience in a manufacturing production facility preferred
• Standing for long periods of time (8-10 hours per day). Occasional lifting to maximum of 25 lbs. Ability to continuously bend and stoop over long periods of time performing repetitive tasks
• Must be able to pass pre-hire drug screen and criminal background check
• Must be reliable, dependable, and have adequate means of transportation
• Manufacturing or factory experience is a plus
