Aerotek is seeking a General Production Worker for a 3rd shift assembly role in Avilla, IN. You will operate and support assembly machines, perform setup, and conduct basic inspections in a non-climate-controlled plant environment.

The position involves physical work, lifting up to 25 pounds, and standing for long periods. Training on 1st shift precedes transition to 3rd shift with possible overtime and a shift premium.

Qualifikationen

• This role requires basic reading, writing and math for production counts and documentation.
• Experience with molding and inspection tasks with attention to quality is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic machine functions to support setup and operation.
• Must be able to work under supervision and receive guidance during training.
• Proficient in ERP data entry and navigation for production records.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and set up assembly machines to meet schedules and requirements.
• Operate assembly equipment safely following procedures.
• Detect and report defective materials or quality concerns.
• Perform visual and basic dimensional inspections to ensure specs.
• Keep work area clean and follow safety rules at all times.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Record production data and inventory movements in ERP.
• Handle molding tasks and inspection activities as part of production.
• Develop familiarity with machine functions for setup and minor adjustments.
• Stay under supervision during training and adapt to guidance.
• Follow 3rd shift processes and attend to training on 1st shift as needed.
