Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital is hiring for a position focused on cleaning and servicing all assigned areas in accordance with policies and procedures, with strong emphasis on infection control and safety. The role requires English literacy, adherence to procedures, and excellent communication with patients, families and colleagues.

The candidate should be detail oriented, able to prioritize tasks, and work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Job description

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 -

Cleans and services all assigned areas of hospital facility in accordance with established policies and procedures, with emphasis on infection and cross contamination prevention and safety.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• Ability to read and write English
• Ability to adhere to policies and procedures without exception
• Ability to effectively prioritize requests, while maintaining established work flow
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs while maintaining focus in accomplishing tasks.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• One year of related experience preferably in a hospital setting

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Salary Range:

$16.63-$24.99

Salary Range Details

The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
