3rd Line IT Support Technician - East Kent
Commutable from Dover, Deal, Canterbury, Herne Bay, Whistable and Thanet area
Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday

Type: Permanent, £35-40,000/annum (negotiable depending on your level of experience) plus good benefits

We are seeking an experienced 3rd Line IT Support Technician to play a key role supporting a large global and local IT team, delivering advanced technical support, managing complex infrastructure projects, and enhancing the performance, security, and resilience of our IT systems. This is an onsite, hands-on role based at our Clients East Kent Location, easily commutable from any of the locations listed above.

Customer focused individual with strong problem-solving skills and technical experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a senior escalation point for 2nd line support, resolving complex networking and systems issues.
  • Administer, monitor, and optimise:
  • Server infrastructure (Windows Server, virtualisation environments)
  • Network devices (switches, routers, firewalls)
  • IT security protocols and tools
  • Storage systems
  • Backup and disaster recovery systems
  • Telephony (VoIP systems)
  • Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
