Job summary

Micron Solutions in Fitchburg, MA is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician for the 3rd shift. You will set up, troubleshoot, and change molds on injection molding machines, monitor cycles, and collaborate with engineering and maintenance to keep production safe and efficient.

The ideal candidate has hands-on molding experience, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work independently on a night shift with overtime opportunities and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Hands-on injection molding processing experience.
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting injection molding machines.
• Experience performing mold changes and machine setups.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond to production issues.
• Ability to work 3rd shift, Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and troubleshoot injection molding machines.
• Mold and job changeovers as needed.
• Set up and troubleshoot auxiliary equipment.
• Respond to machine alarms and processing issues.
• Make process adjustments within established parameters.
• Monitor cycle times, machine performance, and process stability.
• Troubleshoot basic robotics and automation issues.
• Complete required production and process documentation.
• Identify opportunities to reduce scrap and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to resolve issues.
• Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
