Job summary

Micron Solutions is seeking an experienced 3rd shift Injection Molding Process Technician in Fitchburg, MA. You will set up and troubleshoot machines, perform mold changes, monitor performance, and fix process issues to keep production running safely and efficiently.

You’ll also work with robotics and automated equipment to meet tight tolerances. The ideal candidate has hands-on molding experience, can troubleshoot equipment, and collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality

Qualifications

• Hands-on injection molding processing experience.
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting injection molding machines.
• Experience performing mold changes and machine setups.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond to production issues.
• Experience with robotics, automation, or auxiliary equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and troubleshoot injection molding machines.
• Perform mold and job changeovers.
• Set up and troubleshoot auxiliary equipment.
• Respond to machine alarms and processing issues.
• Make process adjustments within established parameters.
• Monitor cycle times, machine performance, and process stability.
• Troubleshoot basic robotics and automation issues.
• Complete required production and process documentation.
• Identify opportunities to reduce scrap and improve efficiency.
• Work with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to resolve issues.
• Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
