Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota Teaching License, preferred Tier 3 or Tier 4, in elementary education.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience using Google Classroom.
• Curriculum planning/alignment and instructional experience.
• Experience with differentiation.
• Willingness to identify, interpret and follow school policies and procedures.
• Show initiative and function as a self-starter.
• Physical demands: able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare instruction aligned to state standards with clear learning goals.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and use data to inform planning.
• Establish a respectful classroom environment and support social-emotional development.
• Coordinate paraprofessionals and volunteers; manage classroom logistics.
• Provide standards-aligned differentiated instruction and use core Knowledge curriculum.
• Communicate with families about progress and instructional programs; engage families.
