Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field is required.
• Valid teaching certification/licensure per state guidelines is preferred/required.
• Experience teaching elementary, preferably 3rd grade.
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging instruction aligned with state standards and school curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans that support diverse learning styles and student needs.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Assess student progress using formative and summative assessments and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Support students in developing strong reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and vocabulary skills.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, instructional coaches, and school leadership.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with families.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events.
