Job summary

Responsibilities include planning, instruction, classroom management, communication, Catholic identity, and non-instructional duties. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and valid state certification; STEM emphasis per the school's program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Current teacher certification in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC.
• Knowledge of child development and supervision.
• Experience teaching in an elementary school (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Create lesson plans that align with Archdiocese standards.
• Use assessments to inform instruction and adjust plans.
• Plan learner-centered lessons for diverse needs.
• Deliver instruction with varied instructional methods.
• Differentiate instruction based on student data.
• Maintain grade books and communicate progress to families.
• Establish procedures and a positive classroom environment.
• Foster Catholic identity and lead related activities.
• Perform non-instructional duties such as supervision and clubs.
