The 3PL Returns Inventory Representative is responsible for systematically preparing inbound shipments from our third-party logistics (3PL) providers. This role requires a strong emphasis on accuracy, control, monitoring, and effective verbal communication to verify inventory and investigate load discrepancies. Additionally, the representative is responsible for compiling detailed discrepancy reports, identifying errors, analyzing their root causes, and implementing corrective actions to resolve any inaccuracies.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Exception handling (Mislabels, overages, shortages) - Research and validation.
• Confirming return authorization numbers on advanced shipping notices (ASN).
• Completing inventory discrepancy reports.
• Printing labels and creating manifests.
• Facilitating the ship to loft transfers + researching issue for ship to loft transfers.
• Performing sku changes dealing with mislabeled product.
• Completing inventory helpdesk tickets via Sales Force.
• Assist in filing claims and providing research to validate the submission of claims.

Education, Experience And Other Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred
• Years of experience: Minimum of two years of inventory control or equivalent combination of education and warehouse operations experience, preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license preferred.
• Knowledge of Inventory Management preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and WMS (Manhattan)
• Knowledge of basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, and RF Scanning.
• Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including order picking, packing, and shipping processes and procedures.
• Dedicated to business and willing to adjust schedule and hours as needed to manage department.
  
  

Essential Functions Of The Position

• Performing tasks in a standing/sitting position for extended periods of time.
• Repetitive movements.
• Capable of performing job duties in a warehouse environment subject to varying weather conditions. Must demonstrate resilience and adaptability to maintain productivity and safety under these conditions.
• Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
