Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of experience with transportation scheduling or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat certification within one year of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen for Federal Security Clearance.
• Ability to pass Federal/State background checks.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management System.
• Knowledge of Transportation Systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound/outbound shipments using CMOS.
• Ensure compliance with Government requirements related to quotes and retention.
• Apply and uphold transportation policies for efficient operations.
• Review transportation costs and capacity to optimize logistics.
• Evaluate vendors using established criteria and document corrective actions.
• Maintain accountability records accessible to Army supply stakeholders.
• Coordinate with PM SSV Lead and OCIE Lead for labor support.
• Monitor daily shipment volumes.
• Build relationships with freight vendors.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Promote Peckham’s vision, values, and services.
• Assist in maintaining organizational quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
