Job summary

A technology solutions provider is seeking a Senior 3PAR Administrator to oversee the design and layout planning of 3PAR storage systems. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with HP 3PAR configuration best practices and manage SAN utilization and disk capacity effectively. With responsibilities including the creation of Snapclones and supporting client operations, this role requires a BS Degree and expertise in 3PAR software systems. Qualifications

• BS degree required.
• Experience with HP 3PAR configuration and administration.
• Familiarity with 3PAR OS software and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creation of Snapclones and other file copy/movement/management as necessary.
• Initiate and track service calls as needed.
• Knowledge transfer with the goal of full adoption by Client Operations within allotted timeframe.
• Familiar with 3PAR OS software.
• Assist with creation of Snapclones and other file copy/movement/management as necessary.
• Daily analysis of SAN utilization and disk capacity.
• Execute SAN virtual disk provisioning.
• HP 3PAR configuration and administration best practices in support of client SLAs.
• Initiate and track service calls as needed.
• Documentation of the HP StoreServ environment and issues/resolution tracking.
