Job summary

tuul.ai is seeking a 3D Vision & Measurement Engineer to develop and deploy 3D reconstruction systems, point cloud pipelines, and measurement algorithms for mobile and edge devices. The projects span agricultural measurement and biometric verification using camera-based 3D capture.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with CV, 3D geometry, and depth sensors in a remote-friendly, Europe/US time-zone aligned team, with ownership over features and direct client feedback.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in computer vision and 3D geometry.
• Experience with point cloud processing (PCL, Open3D, or similar).
• Deep understanding of camera systems, calibration, and photogrammetry.
• Hands-on experience with 3D reconstruction (SfM, MVS, SLAM, or NeRF/3DGS).
• Practical knowledge of measurement accuracy and error analysis.
• Proficiency in C and/or Python.
• Experience with depth sensors (LiDAR, structured light, stereo).

What You’ll Work On

You’ll be developing and deploying 3D reconstruction systems, point cloud processing pipelines, and measurement algorithms that run on mobile devices and edge hardware. Projects range from agricultural measurement systems to biometric verification using camera-based 3D capture.

What We’re Looking For
