Job summary

Loadmaster Industries, Inc. seeks a full-time 3D Tekla Designer / Drafter to join our engineering and drafting team in delivering high-quality 2D and 3D structural designs and fabrication drawings for structural steel projects.

The role collaborates with Engineering and Drafting to produce accurate models and drawings, creates fabrication drawings, and maintains 3D Tekla models. Experience with AutoCAD and Tekla is preferred as part of a comprehensive drafting career.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of hands-on experience in 3D modeling and structural drafting.
• 0–3 years of experience preparing detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for steel structures.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Two-year Certificate or Diploma in CADD, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Experience with Tekla Structures strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Engineering and Drafting teams to produce accurate 2D and 3D models and drawings.
• Create detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for structural steel components.
• Develop and maintain 3D models using Tekla Structures and similar software.
• Support project teams with drafting and design services across multiple structural projects.
