Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC in New York City is seeking a 3D Technical Designer for children’s apparel. The role focuses on developing and maintaining fit, quality, and construction standards across styles.

You will create spec packages, assess development samples for accuracy, and lead fit sessions with Design and Production. Proficiency in Browzwear and Excel is required; office work five days a week is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience, children’s wear experience.
• Experience with Browzwear 3D software or similar.
• Familiar with measuring sample points of measurement to ensure submitted samples are within tolerance of required specifications.
• Strong knowledge of knit and woven garment construction.
• Knowledge of patternmaking, sewing terminology and garment construction.
• Have understanding of garment manufacturing and product development process.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Word; knowledge of Illustrator a plus.
• Must be willing to work in the office 5 days/week.

An established Wholesale Manufacturer of branded and licensed children's apparel in NYC is looking to fill a Technical Design position. The Technical Designer is responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent level of quality and fit for Children's Apparel.
