Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a 3D Technical Designer for children’s apparel in New York City. The role focuses on developing and maintaining quality and fit across styles, coordinating with Design and Production to set and maintain standards.

You will create and review spec packages, measure development samples, and lead fit sessions while ensuring compliance with safety requirements. Office-based position with collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant children's wear experience.
• Experience with Browzwear 3D software or similar software.
• Familiar with measuring sample points to ensure tolerance of required specifications.
• Strong knowledge of knit and woven garment construction.
• Knowledge of patternmaking, sewing terminology and garment construction.
• Have understanding of garment manufacturing and product development process.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Word; knowledge of Illustrator a plus.
• Must be willing to work in the office 5 days/week.

An established Wholesale Manufacturer of branded and licensed children's apparel in NYC is looking to fill a Technical Design position. The Technical Designer is responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent level of quality and fit for Children's Apparel.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with Design and Production teams to establish and maintain fit and construction standards to ensure brand consistency and quality
