Job summary

Westlake Consultants in Phoenix, AZ seeks a mid-level Survey Instrument Person/Field Technician to support the Industrial Measurement Division with 3D scanning, layout, and precise field data collection using state-of-the-art equipment.

You will join a team performing surveys for clients across high-tech manufacturing, marine, and civil projects, with travel to client sites as needed to gather accurate measurements and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience in surveying field.
• Interest in 3D surveying and precision measurement.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain survey instruments and equipment (total stations, GPS, levels).
• Assist surveyors in field surveys and mapping projects.
• Record and manage survey data for analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient survey operations.
• Follow safety protocols in field work.
• Travel to client sites as required.
• Troubleshoot equipment and data collection issues.
