Job summary

Formlabs, based in Boston, seeks a 3D Print Optimization Engineer to push the performance of SLA & SLS platforms. You will design experiments, analyze root causes, and develop multidisciplinary solutions to raise print speed and reliability.

Ideal candidates have a science/engineering background and strong CAD and Python skills, with ownership mindset and hands-on problem solving across disciplines. This role is based on-site in Boston with competitive benefits.

  • Design efficient experiments to reveal system behavior with multiple variables.
  • Tackle multi-disciplinary problems and develop robust solutions.
  • Commercialize improvements that meaningfully boost customer print performance.

Will customers be able to print parts faster? More reliability?
