Job summary

Ford Motor in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Lead for Design Studio Models to guide the development and delivery of physical and digital model builds within a fast-paced design environment.

You will lead a team of professionals, determine best tools and techniques, and ensure timely GPDS deliverables while maintaining safety and quality across all model builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience required.
• Strong knowledge of model building materials, equipment, and techniques.
• Ability to work with a team under tight timing, ever-changing design direction, keeping a positive attitude.

This position is responsible for the development and delivery of physical Design Studio Models.

You will get to lead a team of professionals in the development and build of armatures, design intent models and various other physical models in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this position is $115,700 - $192,000.

Candidates for positions with Ford Motor Company must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location are required to be onsite four or more days per week.
