DS Michael Furniture is a contract furniture manufacturer serving the hospitality and commercial sectors, seeking a detail-oriented 3D Modeler / Project Manager to guide projects from concept through completion. You will use SolidWorks to craft shop drawings and 3D working models for fabrication and client approvals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years SolidWorks experience.
• Ability to read shop drawings/blueprints for furniture fabrication.
• Strong communication skills (email/phone).
• Aptitude for CNC programming in AlphaCAM.

Responsibilities

• Manage furniture projects from start to finish, including engineering and production oversight.
• Create shop drawings and 3D models in SolidWorks for fabrication and client approval.
• Read and interpret shop drawings/blueprints for furniture fabrication.
• Perform field measurements and purchase materials for production.
• Program CNC operations using AlphaCAM.
• Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Adapt to varying day-to-day responsibilities as project needs shift.
