Job summary

Michael Kors (USA) Inc. seeks a skilled 3D Asset Artist to join the design team in New York. You will import, convert, and optimize 3D assets for Unreal Engine 5-driven Virtual Showroom and Product Configurator projects, shaping textures and materials for haute-couture assets.

You bring 1–3 years in asset creation for VFX, games, or 3D fashion, with Maya, ZBrush, and Substance Suite proficiency. Expect a collaborative, deadline-driven environment with on-site work in NYC several days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; related experience accepted in lieu.
• 1–3 years as an Asset Artist in VFX/3D fashion or game environments.
• Proficient with Maya, ZBrush and Substance Suite.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced NYC setting.

Responsibilities

• Import and convert 3D files, from tri to quad geometry.
• Maintain proportions and detail accuracy across assets.
• Cut UVs and organize assets in the database.
• Texture, recolor and adjust materials in Adobe and Substance Suite.
• Render assets in Arnold; support UE5 workflow for VSR/PC.
• Load assets, adjust cameras/lights, and group assets for PC.
