Job summary

Treeswift in San Francisco is seeking a Data Annotator to transform raw sensor data into actionable insights for utility projects. You will annotate 3D environments and help refine models that empower field crews to work smarter and faster.

You will collaborate with engineers, QA leads, and technicians via Slack, maintain detailed records, and ensure data integrity. Training is provided, no engineering degree required, and you must be able to commute to the SF office.

Qualifications

• Must have sharp eye for detail and be able to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy.
• Experience with data entry and data processing; maintain detailed records.
• Familiar with Google Sheets or Airtable.
• No technical engineering background required; training provided.
• Ability to commute to the San Francisco office at least twice a week.

Responsibilities

• Annotate 3D wire spans using internal tools to generate high-quality datasets and be trained for success.
• Identify, document, and report distortions, doubling, or classification errors within visualizations to maintain data integrity.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA leads, and field technicians via Slack to streamline workflows and meet project goals.
• Deliver accurate, actionable insights for utility infrastructure projects across the country, ensuring reliability in every deliverable.
