Job summary

Treeswift is seeking a Data Annotator in New York City to transform raw sensor data into actionable insights for utility clients. You will annotate 3D environments, ensure data quality, and work with engineers, QA, and field technicians to support nationwide infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates have a keen eye for detail, experience in data entry and maintaining records, and comfort with new software. Hybrid work with NYC office visits twice weekly is offered.

Qualifications

• Sharp eye for detail and ability to focus on repetitive tasks with high accuracy.
• Experience in data entry, data processing, and maintaining detailed records.
• Comfortable using computer systems and new software technologies.
• Familiarity with visual data and ability to flag subtle anomalies.
• Experience with Google Sheets or Airtable.
• Able to commute to NYC office at least twice a week.

Responsibilities

• Annotate 3D wire spans using internal tools to generate high-quality datasets, with training provided.
• Ensure data integrity by identifying, documenting, and reporting distortions, doubling, or classification errors.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, QA leads, and field technicians via Slack to streamline workflows.
• Deliver accurate, actionable insights for utility infrastructure projects across the country.
