Job summary

DNOW is seeking an Engineering Designer to join the EcoVapor Engineering team in Denver, CO. You will create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and DraftSight, translate sketches into production-ready CAD documentation, and manage revision control while supporting cross-functional design and development initiatives.

The role requires at least 3 years of CAD drafting or a related engineering background, with SolidWorks proficiency and experience in complex assemblies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional CAD drafting/design experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks 2D/3D drafting and complex assemblies.
• Familiarity with CAD Vault and piping/skids/pressure vessel design is a plus.
• Experience translating sketches into production-ready CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings for EcoVapor projects and products.
• Translate engineering sketches and specifications into production-ready CAD documentation.
• Manage revision control and update drawing packages for accuracy and release.
• Optimize 3D CAD models, file structures, and design trees for efficiency.
• Create P&IDs to support engineering and product development initiatives.
• Produce product renderings and animations for internal reviews and marketing.
• Maintain the shared CAD library for consistency and organization.
• Prepare fabrication drawing packages for manufacturing when required.
