Job summary

Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) in North Logan, UT is seeking a self-motivated individual to join our Strategic & Military Space Division. The selected candidate will produce 3D solid models and production drawings of parts and assemblies using design processes found in the aerospace and defense industry.

The Strategic & Military Space Division delivers advanced satellite and sensor systems that support the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional CAD design experience.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Performs detailed CAD design for space hardware and ground support equipment.
• Generates fabrication and assembly drawings, including tolerancing.
• Collaborates with engineering teams to meet schedule, cost, and design requirements.
