Senior Flexonics Pathway manufactures high-quality metal expansion joints and related products. This role focuses on creating manufacturing drawings, modeling in 3D and 2D, and ensuring compliance with customer, code, and internal standards across planning, purchasing, manufacturing and shipping.

Develop a detailed understanding of products and processes, maintain high attention to detail, and prepare drawings with minimal errors. Emergency work hours may be required to meet customer needs.

Formación

• Professional, enthusiastic self-starter with ownership of projects in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Willingness to learn and think outside the box for design solutions.
• CSWA certification or higher preferred; CAD/Design experience is a plus.
• Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or five years drawing from 3D models.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and check 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks that meet customer, code, and company requirements.
• Apply ASME code, customer and company requirements in clear language communicated to teams.
• Recommend and implement changes to resolve conformance issues and discuss design problem areas with internal personnel.
• Provide adequate product views and details to communicate fabrication needs; coordinate with departments for error-free drawings.
• Check 2D and 3D parts/assemblies for interference and adjust as necessary.
• Consider manufacturability issues, including weld access considerations.
• Perform other duties with potential overtime as required.
